2012 Ferrari F1 Detail Specs Leaked in Italy
Details unlaunched 2012 Ferrari cars appeared in specialist publications page of Italy.
On Tuesday, Autosprint published drawings by Giorgio Piola Maranello technical illustrator latest creation, with some sections - including sidepods - reportedly "inspired by (the) McLaren" last year.
Weekly said the car, that probably was named F12 or F2012, also "many other features that should make it really intense", as ordered by the Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali last year.
"Some people call it (the car) that bad after seeing the form, perhaps because the bulge in my nose," read a statement on this website auto.it Autosprint.
"But the final version should be seamless."
The magazine also said that Ferrari is the innovation to take advantage of regulations for crash safety structure, producing an effect similar to the sidepods aerodynamic wings.
Other features are all-new Ferrari - breaking philosophy more than a decade - is the Red Bull-style pull rod suspension, and also similar to the 'hole' behind the engine cover for a title-winning 2011 Adrian Newey design.
Car exhaust is rumored to come out even higher than the new policy direction, perhaps to the flow of gas into the main elements of the rear wing.
This feature could not be found - perhaps for reasons of confidentiality - the first version release was shown by Ferrari on February 3.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, said the Ferrari 2012 is a "long, low and narrow" and sidepods radiator, with a lower seating position for drivers.
