The New Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS Review and Specification
The latest generation of Suzuki adventure motorcycle to middleweight class finally sticking to the surface. Suzuki unveiled the official pictures and information of the Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS.
Suzuki V-Strom Specifications reveals new technology brought with details such as engine capacities 645cc with 90 degree V-twin. The engine uses a a liquid coolant and connected by a six-speed transmission.
Unfortunately there are no figures about the recording of power or torque. But, the engine looks very similar to the DL engine 650. Both have the same dimensions (81mm x 62.6mm bore and stroke), although the compression ratio decrease from 11.5:1 to 11.2:1.
Dimensions of Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS is higher, with a seat height 835mm, 43mm and front forks poles tube adjustable for spring preload feature. Parts of rear suspension uses a link-type with preload and rebound adjustment. There is also a pair of air intakes under the lights, but whether this is a ram-air intake or just Motorcycle sweetener only, is still unclear.
Offered in three colors that is white, orange and black. Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS also has a new look, a design motif that is slightly curved. engine Cover from steel and lights are supported by a infills plastic arounding the radiator and gives the appearance of a modern Motorcycle.
Front wheels sized 19-inch and rear 17-inch and brakes combination of dual brake 310mm discs in front and 260mm at the rear. New 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS will compete with other Motorcycle such as the new Triumph Tiger 800 and Honda Transalp.
